Is Black Friday worth it?
Waking up at an ungodly hour can be brutal, but if it is all in the name of a deal, why not? Take time to scour through the ads on in the newspaper on Black Friday sales deals and make sure you put together a comprehensive shopping list. Be as organized as possible, listing down names of stores, locations and most importantly the time you will set out for you at each store. Timing is important, as all deals are available only during certain times, and thus, your timing must be perfect, so you target as many offers as you want to.
Keep in mind that you probably do not need to camp outside the store to get the deal you have honed in on as most stores stock up in the hundreds for the biggest sale of the year. Therefore, even if you get to the store a few hours late, chances are the product you want will still be available. However, if there is something you have your heart set on, especially if it is a deal, then perhaps you should consider waking up at dawn to make it into the store at opening time. However, evaluate such decisions. Like for instance, would you
sacrifice two hours of sleep to save $25?
Black Friday sales can be an interesting and fun experience. You could make it a tradition with your friends, as one of those times of the year, saved for special memories. Alternatively, it could be all about that pair of shoes you have always wanted that you managed to get for next to nothing, an espresso machine, a big screen television and many more.
This is not just any sale. Black Friday sales are the greatest, biggest sales of the year – and yes, it is worth it, just remember planning is the key.
