With any kind of racing sport, safety should be the main concern. Racing lawn mowers, no matter how quirky it sounds, has become quite popular, but has also been considered dangerous.

Gloves are also necessary if you are determined to win the race. Don a pair of mechanic’s gloves with a leather palm and make sure it fits you well. Your clothing and gloves will provide excellent protection during your lawn mower races.
Last, but not least, your footwear is also equally important. Racing boots come in various designs. Choose boots made for motocross racing. These will protect your feet, shins and calves.
